C1 writing opens by naming a position — yours or someone else’s — in one precise sentence. These frames do that work.

The move from B2 to C1 is the move from listing arguments to weighing them against each other — conceding, contrasting, and concluding.

Formal German compresses whole clauses into prepositional phrases. These genitive prepositions are the signature of C1 register — recognize them in Bescheide, use them in essays.

Exams award the ending: a compressed restatement, a measured judgement, and — if asked — an outlook.
